I think it's a nice machine, but it's not good for gaming. You want a dedicated video card for such things.

Actually, it does have a dedicated 128MB X200M, but it is still rubbish for gaming. More of a multimedia machine.

I recommend the Compaq V4000t or the HP dv4000 w/ the 128MB X700 for gaming.

Yeah the DV4000 would be nice for gaming.

I made the same grave error - don't buy the zv6000 for gaming!! The X200M is a pretty bad card for gaming, even with 128MB dedicated memory (Which is weird because its supposed to be an IGP) - it came out with an Aquamark Score of 12,094 with 512MB of RAM and 12,765 with 1GB of RAM. It wouldn't have even gotten that far if it weren't for my super powerful Athlon 64 4000+ CPU. This compared with my Satellite's score of 9,964 was completely riddiculous. My Satellite has only 32MB of VRAM, is 4 years old, and has only a so-so CPU (actually a horrendous one compared with the Athlon 64) was outragous. For this very reason, I unloaded my zv6000 - poor gaming/GPU intensive performance. I agree with Chaz and Nick - get a Compaq V4000t or a dv4000 for a gaming machine.
