    Hi guys currenty my notebook is running out of space as i have 120 Gb and 2 OS in it. I wish to upgrade the hdds to Western Digital Scorpio 250GB WD2500BEVS do you all think my notebook can support

    Without me going and researching that specific model, do you know if it has a SATA or IDE drive? The only thing you have to worry about, is whether your laptop has SATA or IDE as the Hard Drive standard, otherwise, the capacity of the Hard Drive has no bearing on whether or not it will work.

    If your laptop has SATA as the Hard Drive interface then the Western Digital HDD you listed will be fine.

    Then the Western Digital you posted will work fine. If you wanted a 7200 RPM HDD, then go on newegg and look up the Hitachi Travel Star. It won't make too much of a difference, but it will grab the data a little faster.
