    HP ZX5040CA

    i just bought this laptop, i don't think it has brightview, but maybe it does... and if it dosen't, is it possible to send my laptop to HP and get the screen changed????

    You should be able to easily tell if its a BrightView screen or not.

    Turn off the computer so the screen is off. If you can easily see your reflection in it, then its a BrightView screen.

    A label should say Brightview on it. It should be glossy. Your invoice will state Brightview. You cannot upgrade. You will have to return it.
