HI all,
got my first laptop ever, how can I verify that it truly has NVIDIA video card inside? it was the setting I customized when i bought it online. Just wondering why it doesn't have NVIDIA sticker?

Consider yourselves lucky, one less sticker you have to remove.
-
I guess you guys don't visit the Dell Forum often, but it's pretty much consensus that the sticker gives you a 10% boost in graphical speed. Quick, go buy one from eBay.
-
So... how much exactly is the Splendid sticker gonna boost? mmmuuuhhhaaaaa
-
The only stickers I removed were those huge HP ones showing specs to the left and right of the touchpad.

i didn't get a nvidia sticker either, but i think its cause the spot where they put the sticker normally has a fingerprint reader there. my dad's dv9000t has an nvidia sticker for his go7600
and don't u know the sticker's like having a HUGE wing on your car, OBVIOUSLY BOOST IN HORSEPOWER! -
I have an 8600m and no fingerprint reader and didn't get a sticker either. I do have Centrino Duo, Windows Vista and lightScribe stickers though.
It's funny, I just saw a DV9XXX in Costco today and the display model did have an NVIDIA sticker. I was wondering why mine was missing. They also have nicer boxes at Costco. -
My guess is that they just ran out of stickers, since they are separate on the Intel models (AMD units have a single combined logo label).
-
ya i didnt get 1 either, o wel
-
I got one.. I noticed increased performance by 20% and an extra 50% to coolness factor.
I didnt get the massive hp stickers that they put on display though. -
I like that the big problem of the day on HP is the stickers...

My Compaq V3000 has a Turion X2 processor but has a Turion sticker.
-
Hmm, well mine didn't have the Nvidia sticker either, but I seriously don't care. I got a intel, vista and lightscribe ones, no specs (thankfully). My gorgeous laptop can speak for itself and doesn't need non stinking stickers..
-
well thanks to all of your comments. Got it verified on device manager that it has nvidia graphics. Was able to verified it also on dxdiag under video tab. thanks!
-
Why would you guys want the sticker anyways...? -_-;;

I just wait for mine to peel off on it own, just like thin plastic protector for the imprint finish on the top . Its still there and slowly peeling off on its own.
Does it leave a sticky residue like when you remove normal stickers off stuff? -
I had a lottt of sticky residue and it was such a b!tch to get rid of, but when it was all done, it looked 100x better than with the stickers cuz both the left and right side match now and are sticker free.
does not have NVIDIA sticker?
