    hello to everybody this is my first time visit to the hp forum .
    my dad has an hp zd7000 laptop.
    and after a fesh install windows says he doesnt have a driver for the battery .
    now my question is where can i find such drivers, he really needs them cause everytime he boots up windows starts naging about it.
    please help

    People used to use drivers for batteries, but they always carried viruses and the infected batteries explode!

    *So we do not use drivers for batteries now!*

    This is just a joke, but I seriously have never seen any drivers for batteries.

    You may find drivers for power management, but that's usually more CPU-related (they adjust CPU clock speed and voltage), I guess that may be what you wanted.

    There are no such things as drivers for batteries i'm affraid, as it is not a hardware that windows has control over. Percybut might be correct, it's probably to do with power management.

    this is a screen shot from my laptop .
    and by my dad the part battery contains 2 things without drivers. how can i solve this .is there a way to try my drivers in my dads laptop

    what can i do about this ? i have copied 2 files that my laptop uses to my dads laptop but it still doesnt work.please help
