    droped my dv 2000t

    i droped it on the parking lot. dent on the corners and some on the top lid and scratches. i thought the whole thing was ****ed up but everything still works fine LCD still fine. can the warantee help me with this??

    Do you have accidental coverage? If not, they aren't going to lift a finger.

    You might want to test out your notebook a little bit just to make sure all the components are okay. Considering that it booted no problem, I wouldn't be surprised if it's functionality isn't hurt at all.

    i was supprise that nothing happend to it too. cuz when it droped i heard a loud cracking sound. i thought it was over for that laptop. the damage is some dents and straches on the top part of the computer. the DV 2000t is really tough laptop. i thought the LCD was cracked too. but its fine. DVD player still works.

    i dropped a cross on top of mine (pretty heavy about 1.5lbs) i thought my lcd was cracked. but everything was fine. except i got a dent on my shiny laptop haha... but yeah very durable laptop
