    hi i have a hp paviliondv6645us, i would like to know if i can do dual boot with xp profesional and another xp profesional and what i need for do that?because i want 1 xp for work and another for fun
    if i do that, does the computer start to work a litle slow than if i have 1os?

    Well, one advantage I can see is that you can try new software on the "fun" partition without worrying about it hosing your important stuff.

    Anyway, it should work... I don't see why not. The only startup slowdown would be the time it takes to choose which OS you want to boot.

    Its also good if you have to users using the laptop but then again you can just add a diffrent user profile

    valentjn i need two os because i work in audio, im producer, dj an mussican , its not the same if you use folders than os
