I received a new notebook with vista dv 6000t and have partitioned my hard drive 30 gb for xp and 130 for vista. I have installed windows xp media. I boot up every time into widows xp. I cannot enable the sata driver in the bois or windows xp does not boot. How to I set up a duel boot.

I had a vista upgrade disc and did a repair and was able to see vista . My sata driver in the bois is still disabled for XP it will work for vista but not XP I am wondering if one of the drivers I loaded for xp is wrong. Thank goodness I had a upgrade disc for vista. The recovery disc does not have the repair feature. I would still be working on it now if i did not have the upgrade disc
