I have quickplay working in vista and in xp i have installed the file qpw23 and in programs quick play comes up. I have allocated 1.6 gb of free space for the quickplay feature on my notebook. I have tried to install HPQPDP and keep getting code 2147418113. This usually means no enough free space. Anybody have any ideas.

as far as i know, the quick play partition MUST be 1028mb and the VERY end of the physical drive. also, it must be a primary partition.

I think it has to be at least 1028mb, but can be bigger.

2147418113 This error can be from the fact that Windows recognized the partition, and therefore Quickplay cant install it as a hidden partition.

IN XP simply, open up Administrative Tools from the Control Panel.
Go to Computer Management. Select Disc Management.

You should see your 1 GB of free space as its own drive. Right Click on it and go to delete partition. Leave the space unallocated and then Launch Quickplay. It will do the rest.
