This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     dv1000 Sonoma version

    Does anyone know if HP is planning a Sonoma version of the dv1000 or the like (14 inch widescreen)?

    Also why no WSXGA + Bright LCDs?

    Honestly, thats exactly the same thing that I want. I'd either buy a Sonoma version of the V2000 or a high-resolution version of the V4000/DV4000. I'm not going to buy a large screen unless I get the higher resolution associated with it. Hopefully one of the two comes out before I go back to school and need to buy a laptop.
