I have a problem with my dv1000 where coming out of Hibernation, the Taskbar fails to show up. When the notebook goes into stand-by it is fine. Only coming out of Hibernation mode does the Taskbar disappear. I have to restart the computer to get it back. Any suggestions?

That used to happen on my dv1000.

I'd usually do CTRL-ALT-DEL, go under processes, end Explorer (if running), then start it again under the Task Manager's "New Task" on the Application tab.

    Worked fine for me.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try that next time it happens.
