Did I not see on here something about HP offering the Turion in the dv1000 as well as a host of other computer. I thought that might happen today with the release of the L2000 but I guess not. Any thought as to if this will actually happen and expected date.

Only the L2000 was scheduled to be released today, the rest did not have a specific launch date. The next launch might be the Turion version of the V2000.

Not sure if it is a Turion but HP have just released a faster processor for the dv1000.

    Intel(R) Pentium(R) M Processor 770 (2.13 GHz) +$625.00

Not really worth paying $625...Peformance will only be slightly better than the 750(1.86GHz)which is $300 cheaper. Intel makes a lot of money with their top end processors.
