This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I posted earlier about how my the lid on my new dv1000 didn't seem to close perfectly... ie there was more of a crack on one side than the other...

    I thought it was just the latch so it wasn't that big of a deal... but the more I've used it I've noticed that its not the latch, its the whole SCREEN thats crooked. I don't know if its just the hinges or if its warped, but there is more of a space one hinge than the other, and if you use it for a while you notice the picture is slightly tilted too.

    Too bad I didn't really notice until after the stores return period was up... But I do have 3 yr service in store on it. I'm going to bring it in tomorrow, hopefully I don't have to put up too much of a fight to get it fixed :mad: .

    Annoying to say the least... anybody else have this problem?
