    Aloha,

It looks like budget restrictions and current market prices have lead me give the most consideration to buying one of these 2 HP notebook lines. The idea of buying a machine w/ shared graphic memory kills me, however, I'm wondering how much difference the ati 9200 graphics card really makes.

I've found the zt3000 on close out (zt3355us specifically) for $1200 after rebates - the dv1000 models are all price break/improved upgradables between $1050 and $1300.

What do you want to use it for? The DV1000 is smaller and lighter and has the QuickPlay feature. The ZT3000 has been discontinued by HP.

    Also, what is your budget?
