Get NHC 1.10b2 at http://www.pbus-167.com/chc.htm. It adds many more controls to your notebook to extend battery life and display remaining battery both in time and %.

This has been a long time puzzle and I doubt if you can find any answer.

well thank you :) that program does show battery remaining but only after 10 minutes will it show otherwise it just goes 98% remaining or something...

with that program ive also underclocked my celeron m to 600mhz.... Speedstep pffft who needs it, would still need to undervolt at that speed to get near same benifit of pentium m But the fact is celerons lot better then u think... :DOD;osd;sofdod;sfo ty again,

how would i flash my bios to see if this fixes the problem?

It takes time to estimate the energy consumption before it shows the estimated time. With undervolting, I am geting 5hour28min with a full 12-cell battery in my DV4000 with Pentium M 1.86GHz and x700 GPU. Of course, that number will be significantly decreased if I am watching DVD.

I would say this is still a puzzle. Some said it does. The same for the volume level display on screen. It is not consistent even with the same model series.
