    I decided I wanted to get the HP dv1000 because of all the good reviews on it. However they didn't mention one thing about it, how big is the power adapter? I've seen some note books with a power adapter as big as a brick, so this is my only real worry about this notebook.

    It is a standard sized brick from my memory (I returned it so I have nothing for comparison).

    My V2000 had a smaller sized power adaptor. I would consider it as small. Comparing it with my R3000z power adaptor it was quite small and light.
