Hi, I am going to purchase the dv1000t with minimum ram to upgrade with something like this

Is it a pretty easy upgrade (i.e. access through a panel at the bottom of the notebook), or is there more involved?

    Thanks!

Yes, it's pretty easy. Remove the memory cover, pop out the minimum memory and pop in your new sticks.

I would make sure the memory works with your laptop before commiting to buy. I typically go through comments from buyers for this or at least hasn't given them any hassles before buying.
