In Power Options, I have set closing the lid to do nothing for every power plan. After each time I close the lid, leave it for a few minutes, and then re-open the lid, the backlight brightness cannot be adjusted until I restart the computer. Neither fn+f1/f2 nor the sliders in Power Options change the brightness. Unplugging the AC adaptor causes the screen to dim a bit but not enough to reach the lower brightness set for battery in the power plan. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix this? Thanks.
