Hi, I am planning to buy a laptop soon and the dv2000 t/z is one that I'm looking at. If I get it now, will it be able to handle more than the basic version of windows vista, or will I need to wait until next year?

You should be able to; its GPU is ranked somewhat above X200, which is known to support Aeroglass.

Edit: I'm talking about dv2000z here, not dv2000t.
