is there any graphics card that i can use through the PCI express slot, or the the expansion port?

the laptop is hp pavillion dv2000 (exactly: dv2132ea)

I would appreciate any help, since i don't want to go through the hassle of changing my laptop.

I just need a better vga card

HP sold the dv2000t series with a Geforce Go 7200 as an option. But you'll have to buy a new motherboard specifically with the Go 7200 since it is integrated into the motherboard.

Direct from HP, it should cost around US$ 400 - 500. There are sellers on ebay selling around US $150. So, pricing depends on where you buy it from. You can still make use of the CPU, memory, HDD etc but thats pretty much your only option without purchasing a new system.

Also keep in mind that although a Go 7200 is better than the GMA 950, don't expect stellar 3D performance after spending hundreds on a board. The 7200 is weaker than both the 8200M and HD3200 integrated chipsets available in today's notebooks.
