    I decide to go with dv2000t over D520...
    Any last advise about buying dv2000t?
    Intel Core Duo 2500
    80G HD
    2G Ram
    GeForce 7200
    8X DVD/RW
    I think it will fit me great...

    Hope that you don't get the high pitched noise, and if you do disable power saving on the usb root hubs or go with RMClock.

    I would suggest ordering it with the recovery DVDs, it cost $10-15 or so just for 2 Dual Layer Quality blanks anyways.

    If I were you, I would think about ordering that laptop with 512MB RAM and upgrading yourself as the price to buy RAM yourself and put it in is way cheaper than the price HP is going to charge you to ship it with 2GB.

    agree with "evolution46and2", you can upgrade the memory yourself.

    a few suggestions:

    1. no recovery CD needed.
    2. buy your own memeory

    other than these two points, it is a great machine. you will like it.

    Just buy it, it is an awesome machine! As mentioned just get it with 512mb of ram and upgrade yourself. It will take less than 5 min.

    What do you mean by

    I don't think I understand or know how to do those.
