when i press the back of the top left display panel, i see the LCD turns liquidy(top left side). pressing it from the back i only see that one spot turn liquidy(top left side of the LCD). i wonder if this is only me or anyone els too? its like there is something behind the LCD.

could not replicate it on mine...

could this be that my antenna has fallen off from the top?

All LCD's will do this, but it will depend on the strength of the backing of the lid of the notebook. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display, which means they utilise liquids to create a picture. If you extert pressure on it, then some of layer will become unequally distrubuted, which result in ripples and a "liquid" effect. If you ever press hard on a calculator display, the same thing happens, because they are also LCD displays.

this only happen in one spot. top left side. only this spot.

yeah it's probably just a weak spot of the casing. mine does the same thing. still, this is a huge improvement over the previous HP notebook models where it would happen everywhere you pressed. it just depends on the quality of the build of the notebook, which i never thought HP was known for, but the current models are pretty well built.

yes, it very well built. i drop my dv2000t like 5 times. one time i drop it outside on the asphalt!( my bag wasnt closed)! other times i drop it on the hard floor by accidently kicking the power cord. XD. and one time i got pissed and threw it on the couch and landed on the floor. nothing broke accept a few sctrach. no dead pixel too. HP made some strong plastic. hahahahahah
dv2000t concerns
