    dv2000t fan control--light at the tunnel end

    Following this thread and this one, I think I am close to the control of fan speed of my dv2000t.

    This is what I have done:

    1. get the current DSDT. I don't have a registered version of Registrar Manager so I used Cygwin. All I need to install Cygwin and Vim and run the command.

    2. I decompiled DSDT binary file into a text file. Easy.

    3. Now, here is the quote from the first link above:

    But I am not sure exactly which values to change in my DSDT file and it varies from the author's version. I know little about hexadecimal.

    After changing the values, it is all very easy to merge the new values into the registry.

    Can anybody with some programming/compiling background take a look at the attached file and tell me which values to change? I think a lot of dv2000t users will benefit from this tweaking.
