For you dv2000t owners, can you easily tell if your fan is running?

I have to ask because on my dv2000t, the small vent in the back on the left side very faintly has air coming out. If i put my ear up to the vent I can definately hear a fan running and some warm air coming out on my ear but if I put my hand in front of the vent, it's really hard to tell if the fan is running at all. Is this normal or could my vent just be blocked?

that's normal, the fan is barely audible. Now if only the hard drive had some sort of active cooling...

It is normal. Get rmclock and use it to monitor your CPU temp. It is around 45 Degree Celsius, the fan should be very quiet.
