That wont work, you will need 200pin DDR2 SODIMM's like this one...

The 240pin's are all desktop memory. As for Patriot, dont a thing about them but they should be fine. I ususlly prefer Crucial but since tey are a bit more expensive than they ought to be, Transcend would be my generic manufacturers recommendation. You should be fine with any memory since almost all have Lifetime warranties.

Ah, thanks. I didn't even notice where it said 240 pin. I was focused on the DDR2 667 part. Basically any DDR2 200 pin RAM should work? How much of a difference is there between PC5300 and PC5400? And lastly, they're all listed as PCxxxx or PC2xxxx, is this just another way of telling the different between DDR and DDR2?

Yes, any 200pin DDR2 SODIMM should work with the dv2000t. I believe PC5300 - PC5400 designation is just manufacturers rounding off to the nearest whole number since bandwidth is calculated -->8X667=5336. PC and PC2 are there to differentiate between DDR and DDR2. But since there arent any DDR memory above PC3200, most people just refer memory any higher just as PC5300,4200 even if they are DDR2 memory.
