I got my new dv2000t with the Core2duo 5300 and the geforce 7200. I'm happy to report that with Vista Home Premium and 2 gigs of ram, I can play Half-life 2 at 30-70fps depending on the scene. At no time does it become unplayable or noticably laggy. So, if you're a Half-life 2/CS:Source fan, feel free to get the 7200 and you'll be fine.

But now that the 8400's are out in the dv2500's, wow. The 7200 gets a 675 in 3dMark2006, but the 8400M gs's are getting 1450. I can't image how cool that is!

mattropolis - Good news - are you using H-P drivers for the 7200 or the (newer?) drivers from Windows Update?
