Anytime I return from Hibernation, Screensaver, or when I access my desktop after turning my dv2000t on, the screen blinks really fast and shows some sort of diagonal static lines coming from the lower left of my screen.

This is more of an annoyance than anything, and I'm a little concerned that this may lead to something bigger in the future. If it's nothing serious, I can deal with it.

    Anyone else?

My advice would be to have the notebook sent in for repair before your warranty is up. It may only be a loose cable or some minor interference, but it prices for out of warranty repairs are very expensive. Its a nice notebook though. My friend has one. Update the BIOS while you are at it.

I checked for BIOS updates under HP updates, and it said I had the most current version, however, I read that there's F.23? I have F.22 though. And I E-mailed HP and they said to install F.12 via a link they sent me. I didn't bother to do so though.

As for sending it in, can I expect them to entirely replace the laptop or just open it up and fix what's possibly wrong? And would I have to install everything all over again?
