Anyone possesses a normal, non-brightview screen on dv2000t? How is the display quality?

I don't like the reflection but I also don't want to compromise the display quality (clarity and color richness) too much.

So matte "14.1" WXGA Widescreen" owners, what is your experience with this screen?

I've got a v3000 with matte and I think it's beautiful. It's Compaq's version of the dv2000. When I compared it with my cousin's brightview couldn't see much of a difference. If your going to b near windows or a lot of lights odn't get glossy.

It all depends on your preferences. Some people like matte because there's no glare, but others like the glossy screen because the colors are vibrant. There's no loss to what you choose. It all depends on what you want.

yeah i got the same as u Firelord901
cause i went to bestbuy and saw the v6000z, and it had brightview, did not like it, it reflected the things in the background. you could see people who were walking behind me! so i decided to stick with matte. plus i would like to work outside with out having trouble viewing the screen!
