    hi i have the dv2278ea

    the play/pause, next, previous, stop and volume buttons dont actually do anything any more. They just come up with green writing like on television sets.


    I have installed new and old versions of hp's quicklaunch button driver from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3357670&lang=en

    So far not had any success. Does any have this problem too? Anyone know how to rectify it?

    I will post back if I find a solution somewhere else.
