The touchpad on my new notebook is too sensitive. I read the HP help files about adjusting it but the control panel they mention doesn't exist.

Anyone know where to tweak the settings? Thanks

The only thing I can think of is that in the HP files they had their control panel on classic view when yours wasn't or vise versa?? :S Idk...

Same difference, no matter which view I use. There is only an option to adjust mouse settings, not touchpad. Is there even ceontrol panel for the touchpad?

Just got finished with HP. The correct driver wasn't even installed. I can't get the url but for anyone else having this problem the executable file name is sp35582.exe

No wonder folks are frustrated with Vista. I've spent two hours on a stupid touchpad!

Right. Something is wrong? Blame Vista! *sigh*

Obvisouly, it's Microsofts fault for not providing drivers that work for this touchpad, not HPs.
