Decided to buy a dv2500t with one decision remaining. I know nothing about wireless but would like to use it at home (rarely travelling). This model comes with integrated broadband 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless LAN "supported by Verizon." I checked out verizon monthly fee and it's not in the budget. So is the integrated broadband worthless unless one signs up with Verizon?
The regular dv2500 comes with Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG. Am I missing anything by going with this? I know N is missing but like I said, I've been reading up on wireless and the learning curve is slow. Thanks for any advice.

The verizon wireless card is only if you want internet anywhere you go. It's like a cell phone, it dials into Verizon and gives you internet. If you are just looking for wireless card for wireless internet in your house and for other wireless internet hotspots don't go with the the regulard dv2500t and not the broadband wireless series.
