I ordered the dv2500t with the dedicated Nvidia 8400M GS.

Now the HP drones are saying unless I ordered the broadband dv2500t model it will not come with a HDMI port. This is a deal killer for me as I'm not too impressed with the VGA out on my tx1205us.

Anybody get one with dedicated graphics WITHOUT an HDMI port?

    Thank you!

That would be news to me, I had heard that the Nvidia gave you the HDMI, changing that would seem to be difficult...

I thought the same, but when you select the broadband dv2500t it does emphasize that the Nvidia option comes with the HDMI option, but on the standard dv2500t setup it's not mentioned anywhere in the description. (That I saw.)

So I called HP and they said "it comes with HDMI when you order the Nvidia" I had her double check with their product specialist and yes it does...so all worries should be gone! I also asked her about the new rumoured 2600t (see post) and she also asked her product specialist and has no knowledge of it...

Thanks, I appreciate that! Guess I just talked to someone who wasn't very informed. Got a heck of a laptop with the 20% off, dang 30% off had to end a few days before I needed a new laptop. ;-)
