    dv2500t card reader an SDHC cards

    Does anyone know if the Ricoh 5-in-1 card reader in my laptop works with the newer SDHC cards?

    Are you sure? I think it's the same 5 in 1 as in dvx000.
    If it's still the same one, than it cannot.
    Dell has a new 8 in 1 card reader, maybe it can read SDHC.

    I was just chatting with an HP tech support person and he said it doesn't support it. Although, he may be confused. I spent a lot of time waiting for his reply only to be told that, yes, my Ricoh card reader was compatible with my laptop. :confused: I'm glad that the card reader HP built into my laptop is compatible with it. :rolleyes: Then I got a list of compatible cards, which didn't have SDHC on it. I thought maybe a driver update would work.

    I'm still not convinced either way, so I just bought two 2GB cards instead.

    Mine (dv2000z) is not compatable and HP support online says no also.
