How much hotter will this notebook get with a nvidia 8400 versus a intel 3100?

    Will it be too hot?

HP laptops are hot because of the HDD.

What if I put in a HITACHI Travelstar 7K200 7200rpm drive. I heard it runs cooler than 5400rpm drives. I think it's cooler than that seagate momentus 160 gig drive.

7200rpm drive? Plan to use it as a heater come the winter months?

Well the 5400 and 7200 seagate momentus run at about the same temp. And the hitachi runs cooler than the seagate. So I figured it's the best one to get.

    What would you recommend?
