    I have searched this a few times and i haven't found any help.

    I just ordered 2GB DDR2 PC2-5300 / 667MHz / 2x128Mx64 / Dual Channel / CL4 / 200-Pin So-Dimm for my dv2500t

    I would like to know how to install in correctly, is their a solid how to guide or a forum that you can direct me to? any help at all, thx!

    i thought dv2500t only supports up 2x1GB

    specs on hp website say otherwise, also you cannot customize this notebook with 4gb ram on their site.

    There has already been users on the board that have done this with success. Just keep in mind that 32bit Windows will not see 4GB, only a tad more than 3GB.

    I just ordered cosiar 1x2g, ill will still have dual channel and 2g is all i really need. I do know that a 2g chip will work and can be expanded up to 4g in a 2500t. But like stated 32-bit vista only rec about 3g Thx guys
