    Hey all,

My laptop has been running hot recently and I'm pretty sure it's due to the fans, etc. being covered with dust. I was able to get a good deal of it out by spraying compressed air into the vent along the back of the hinge. I'd like to spray it directly at the fans though just to make sure it's as clean as possible.

However, where should I open the laptop up to get access to the fans? None of the panels on the bottom seem to open up the fans, am I overlooking something or is there another way to reach them? Anyone else have luck cleaning out their system with the same model or similar HP laptops?

Ouch, that's removing a little more than I had hoped for. Oh well, it has to be done! Thanks.
