    Hi,

Has anyone tried more than 2GB of RAM in a dv2699? A HP rep got back to me today stating that the board on the dv2699 is limited to 2GB for technical reasons. The chipset seems to be capable of supporting 4GB and I'm just wondering if its a case of the HP guy repeating the info from their web site.

I've posted about this in another forum but the replies were from an owner of a dv2637, is this just a country specifc version of the dv2699?

    Best Regards, Simon
