    I know the dv4t is coming out in september? Is there going to be real performance enhancements, besides the new montevina chip, between the dv4t and the dv2700t? I mean how much better could the screen resolution get in a 14 inch and is there a new gpu coming out for this small class of laptops that is going to be better than the 8400m gs (same as the xps m1330 gpu)?

    Can you quote any source for this chunk of news? I'd be excited to the dv4t with Montevina.. (Wondering whether there wud be any $400 discounts when this notebook comes out)

    ya but what will be the difference>? will the 9200m gs outperform the 8400gs by a lot? seems like maybe it might just be newer name.

    so is it worth an exchange from a dv2700t T8300 8400gs to a P8600 9200 gs dv4t?

    I would wait for the Montevina-based laptop just for the simple fact that (as said before) the nVidia 8xxx line is known to have issues.
