    i wanna ask a question because i am really dissappointed....i bought my dv2750 laptop about 8 months ago but now...suddenly without any causes....my laptop is not seeing the DVD or the fingerprint reader at all...as if they r disconnected....no they r really disconnected because the fingerprint log on manager says that frankly 2 me...fingerprint reader is disconnected... is that supposed to happen taking in consideration that it hasn't fallen from me i just bring it with me to the university in a laptop bag....did the data cable disconnect unexpectedly from inside??....please tell me i can send it to Hp but it has to take 2 weeks and i have to take back up from all my data and that's not easy....

    Could you check your device manager and see if you can see it from there?
