hey everyone...
I was at a friend playing some WoW. WoW is not gpu demanding but his laptop get really hot when he play gets up to 92c in idle between 55 to 60c....
while my acer aspire 5100 during wow play only hit 64c and during looking around or watching movies etc.. cpu stays around.
between 40's and 50's c.
I updated his Bios hoping HP fix any heating problem or whatever. and still.
anyone experience this kind of problem or just his laptop.

Depending on how long he has had it, it may need cleaning out, what surface where you using it on?

Its probably a new notebook judging by the model number, so it wont need cleaning out unless its 6months old.
I suggest you prop the back of your notebook by 3cm or more or invest in a notebook cooler
The idle of 55-60c is normal but a max temp of 92c is quite high. The highest ive hit on a 8400m GS is 85c (overclocked) -
