My dvd-rom is spinning out of control when I put in a burnt DVD. It's making weird noises when I put in a burnt cd, though it eventually reads it.

By spinning out of control, I mean that it spins at an extremely high speed without reading it and without stopping. I have to open the drive manually with a paper clip. When it close it and take out the DVD, it goes back to spinning.

    Any idea of whats up?

By the way, I just upgraded to windows 7, but I never got any notification that the drivers are bad.

Maybe I should just zero-out and do a clean install?
