I am having cosiderable overheating issues with my dv4000 :( I'm fully aware that similar topics have been discussed in the past. In short, the overheating issue occurs during gameplay, usually within few minutes of it. I 've set cpu voltage to 1.132v for 2Ghz but to no avail. I've noticed that as soon as the processor hits the 70 celsius threshold it underclocks itself automatically to 500Mhz, until reaching 45 celsius temperature. I'm more than positive that the cooling system in dv4000 has some innate flaws. Apart from that, there're no other issues with my dv4000. I've called HP, but unfortunately HP people are quite ignorant about it  Additionally, taking the laptop apart or exchanging the cooling system, basically for the same one won't help. :( btw, I also have a cooling pad. Any ideas how to resolve this issue with HP are more than welcome.
