    ummmmmmm i was thinking of reformatting and then decided against it but i realized i might one day need to...i cant find a windows xp disc...only a driver recovery cd and quickplay stuff

    can anyone tell me how to make recovery discs and so forth

    You will have to ask HP. They sent me some for free once, but that was a few years ago.
