    hi -
I read somewhere in the review that the advantage of front speakers of dv4000 is that you can still listen to music when you close the lid (screen). But when I close the screen, the windows go to standby mode, and music stops. Is there any way I can prevent window from going to standby mode, when I close the lid?

    thanks.

Sure, go to the Start Menu, then Control Panel, then Power Options, you'll see a tab called "Advanced", click on it and at the bottom you'll see "when I close the lid of my portable computer", change it from standby to do nothing.
