    Hi All

I have a problem with HDMI. I have used HDMI port for my extended desktop over one and half years. Recently, when I connected my HDTV to my laptop, it couldn't detect the TV. I came back to my monitor (HDMI), it was the same. While both the HDTV and computer were on, I plugged the high speed HDMI cable, it might blow up the HDMI controller or something.

Now, nothing is detected through HDMI port. Is it possible to replace a part for that or anything I need to check if the HDMI is really gone?

    Thank you

I know that this might be annoying to hear (especially if you are a knowledgeable user and already did so) but reset your graphics settings, try using VGA to monitor or TV. Check to make sure your refresh rates are default and proper and try a different cable. I don't think that HDMI controller would get blown out that easily (I mean maybe static shock could have happened).
