Does anybody have the latest BIOS version for the dv4t series that I can download from an website, including the HP website?

Mine came with the F.06 version, but I downgraded the BIOS with the F.04 version because I wanted to check something. The F.04 is the initial version, and it is available on the HP website. I know it is a lower version than the F.06.

Although I've found no problem with the F.04 version, I want to go back to the F.06 or any higher version.

But, unfortunately HP doesn't provide the F.06 version on its website...
So... I'm stuck with the F.04 version.

    Any idea???

    Thank you :)

If you purchased your notebook very recently, then you might have gotten the updated bios. HP usually get the updates out first on production/repaired systems before they are uploaded to the website. So, expect a new bios to appear within a month or so from the release date of the bios. Of course, in some cases they might skip a bios version and only release the updated version to the website.

I just installed F.24 on my system. No problems at all. I wonder if the chipset has something to do with it? I have intel processor with Nvidia Geforce 9200M. Those that are crashing what is their video chip?

The initial posting of the F.24 BIOS had some issues so HP removed it from their site for a couple of days. The F.24 BIOS that is currently posted on the site is problem free.

Ahh, so that's good. I would have thought they would've upped the version number so as to not cause confusion. i haven't installed it yet since I thought it was still the bad version.
