Can someone tell me whats the different between dv4t and TL-60? I wish to get either one.

    TL-60 is only $750 with (AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 2.0, 4GB DDR2, 320GB) on best buy.

Dv4t is around $1050 with (2.4Intel Dual, 3GB DDR, 250GB), thats $300 different between these two. If Dv4t just only slightly better, is it worth to pay extra $300? Wish someone can give me some advices.

How about the battery life of dv4t? Can last for how long?

In term of performance, Is Dv4t a lot faster then TL-60?

AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 2.0 is equal to which level of intel dual core? Does it faster than 1.86 Intel Dual Core?

The battery life will be better with the DV4T and it will be faster. My guess would be that a AMD Turion 64 X2 running at 2.0Ghz would be similar in performance to an Intel Core 2 Duo at 1.8Ghz. Intel's current CPUs are faster clock for clock then AMD's.

The intel processor is much more power, and consumes less power, thus resulting in more battery life. The extra gigabyte of RAM should not make a bug difference in every day apps.

a 2.4ghz intel is much faster than a 2.1ghz amd
if you arnt getting a 64bit version O/S you cant use 4 gigs of ram.
intels are, in my opinion, much better than AMDs

i have a Dv5t and i get excellent battery life with it on power saver mode, even longer with the WIFI off.

i cant say for battery life as far as two different laptop models go, but ill bet without looking that the intel will have maybe a half hour better battery, but im not sure how that works since its such a stronger processor

I have a DV6700Z series notebook at hand here and it operates less efficiently than a Core 2 Duo. It's good for everyday tasks.

    notice you're comparing a Dv4t vs a Dv2945

Obviously the Dv4t will win out in all aspects except the pricing.
if you want to go with older model, get a Dv2XXX with Intel Processor instead.

I saw one last time at bestbuy, Dv2915us with intel T5550, 3GB ram, 250 GB HD for only $600 (not special edition ofcourse)

    make your choice.
