    Here's my problem.

Everything about the dv4t is absolutely perfect except the screen resolution. I'm not sure that 1280x800 is going to be good enough for what I'll do. I'll be working with spreadsheets all day and want to have as much screen real estate as possible. Note: I won't play games or watch movies on this as I have a XPS 1730M at home.

Therefore, I look to the dv5t which offers much better resolutions and everything else fits fine.

So I have a few questions if you don't mind.

    1. If I get the integrated GPU on the dv5t, should that deal with most of the heat issues? I'll only get the 2.4 CPU.

    2. Is it reasonable to get the dv5t to take to class everyday? I know it is lightyears ahead of my 1730 but I was curious for some people's thoughts on the portability factor. I won't be trying to use it on a train or airplane, fyi.

    3. Should we expect the 1440x900 from the dv4t any time soon? That one addition would make it absolutely perfect for me.

    Thanks!

    1. should deal with SOME heat issues but not all... the core of this heat issues is the location of the air vent in the bottom... u have to raise it in order to cool it down in games.

    2. IMO YES!. ive been going around with mine (15.4, 3kg) for 2 years now.. i use public service a lot, so that means a lot of walking, and no problems at all... just get a nice bag.

    3. u should ask HP assistance.. or maybe not ^^ they wouldnt tell u even if they knew :)
