Hi there. My sister purchased a dv4t laptop about 2 months ago, though she's only been using it for about a month and a half. She has a problem with her wireless connectivity that just started last night. The wireless button on the laptop is showing red, and it won't switch over to blue. When it's pressed, the Vista taskbar pops up a bubble that toggles between "HP Wireless Assistant: On/Off", but the color on the button stays the same and the network icon still displays a red X. I can't seem to get it to work. I wasn't there when it happened so I have no idea what may have caused it.

Any helps is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Would you happen to know of where I could get instructions on how to do all that? Unfortunately, she goes to school about 200 miles away, and I will not be seeing her for another 2-3 weeks, so she will probably have to do this herself. If I had the computer in front of me I could do it myself, but walking her through it blindly is beyond me.

Any reason why this would happen? After all, as I've said, she's only had it for a couple of months. Why would the wireless card need updating already?
