Has anyone sucessfully installed OS X, XP, or linux on this machine?

I just ordered the base configuration. I think the video will not be an issue but I was wondering if the wlan or sound was an issue for the other OSs. Does anyone know what sound chipset it uses?

    Thanks.

You can't install OS X on non apple hardware according to their EULA. :)

...EULA... thats not to say it hasn't been done, for this answer you are going to have to consult Google we are not allowed to help you in this.

XP will work if you can find drivers... if...

Linux? don't know - my only experience is with Ubuntu and from my experience as long as it is an intel Chipset it will garrenteed work. other than that? i don't know. ( I have it working on an old AMD Tl-60 dual core, X1600 and it works perfectly).

    As above,

It is against the Apple EULA to install OS X on non Apple hardware. Discussions of this is against forum rules. Ive edited out the title so i do not have to close this thread.

XP will work, you just have to hunt down the drivers and slipsteam SATA drivers. We have a thread with compiled XP drivers if i recall correctly.

Linux - Ubuntu should work fine. My dv2000 worked perfectly without any drivers needed.
